Exhausted...

I'm sooooo tired today & I've done nothing productive over the last few days, so, heres a few pics of tattooed people! The first pic is of Twinkie Chan you should check out her website www.twinkiechan.com. She crochets food themed scarves & they are awesome!

Style Icons

Bangles...

The fruits of todays labour... 1. Pink Petals - Handcut felt circles threaded together onto elastic. Took me ages to cut out all the circles! 2. Black Fuzz - Black wool wrapped around a plain plastic bangle & 3. Rainbow Bright - the same but with primary coloured wool. All very fun to make!

My charity shop today was successful... £11.50 got me 2 plain plastic bangles, 1 multi-coloured beaded necklace, a pastel pink ice bucket complete with ice scoop & 2 very large curtain fabric offcuts... I'm going to attempt a no-sew Martha Stewart tote bag with one of these.

Now that I've exhausted myself & finished my Spag Bol i'm going to veg.. catch up with you all soon x

Bright Sunny Day

What a lovely day today! Its bright & sunny, my dad is here, my felting kit arrived in the post... I can attempt to make felt shapes myself now!!!!

Above are some pics of 1. Drew Barrymore modelling my latest creation, Bumble Bee Necklace, 2. Me modelling my necklace: 45 beads in black & yellow with pink swirls... I am in love with it! & 3. My new Felting Kit! Thats one thing off my wish list!

Also this morning I finally checked out Martha Stewart's website... crafting Heaven... so many things on there that I can't wait to try!

Right i'm wrapping up warm now & venturing out to the charity shops to find beads...

New Felt Beads

Have arrived in the post so can get down to some new pieces... thanks to Bigfish.etsy.com for a quick turnaround! Not sure how productive I will actually be over the next few days however as my dad is up for the weekend & my best friend is driving down for her birthday so I'm living in a social whirlwind!

Here's a picture of one necklace I did manage to make this week, Violet Fairy. Shes Tibetan Silver strung on with black beads interspersed with violet beads (although the colour doesn't show up very well on the pc). However I've got to admit to a fondness for felt so i'm itching to get started with my new beads...

Last Few Days...

Just a little catch up for you...

1. Downham Market train station in Norfolk. I spent 40 cold minutes here in the rain on Monday!

Had dinner last night at the new Jamies Italian restaurant in Kingston, London, it was delicious! I had squid follwed my Sirloin steak & it was a very very enjoyable evening!

Above are Black&White which I have fallen in love with... Pink tweet which is on sale in my etsy store & Aventurine which was a birthday present for my mum!

I made these last week & now there is more to come....

Busy, busy,busy...

Life is a little crazy right now... I'm back from Norfolk & a very crafty weekend with mum but straight back to work & lots of shifts... I was off this evening but have been reorganising my workspace & tomorrow its off to dinner at Jamies Italian Kingston so I'll have to catch up with you at the weekend!

In Norfolk The Middle of Nowhere...

...for a few days so am unable to upload any pics at the moment. I have made a couple more lovely necklaces with my felt beads so i'll post the pics when i get home.
Its my mums birthday so i'm in Norfolk for a visit. It is beautiful here but I'm a city girl & tease my mum about living in the sticks!
She's been showing me her Xmas cards & she's made some gorgeous ones. She's refusing to show me her materials in case i try to nick any!
Any how I'll be here fending off loving licks from her puppy Bella for the next few days...

Soooooo Tired!!!!!

Just a quick line to say that i'm incredibly tired as I did a double shift at work today so I haven't done any cool stuff!!!!

Creative Frenzy

This evening has been a bit of a mad creative frenzy really... I managed to get five necklaces done!

Pictured above are 4 of them...

1. Tigers Eye Necklace - A tigers eye threaded with felt beads, crochet beads & wooden beads. A personal favourite!

2. Limoncello - I made the necklace tonight to go with the earrings I'd already made to sell as a set in my shop.

3.Peppermint Passion - One violet felt bead surrounded by various beads all in peppermint shades. Cute!

4. Angel Necklace - an angel pendant with lovely big green beads.

I am now completely exhausted having been at work today & only getting 5 hours sleep!
